Capture the texture in Black and white image

Photos taken by today’s cameras are all in colours. The advancement in cameras  technology always involves the accuracy in colour reproduction by image processors of DSLR, and the top ranged DSLR always market as a camera which can capture and reproduce images with the highest colour accuracy.

Having said that, some scenes or images are sometimes better to be seen in black and white, such as the one below.

This is a piece of old wall with 2 arched windows. The beauty of it is the tree roots crawling up the wall to make the wall full with textures and abstracts. To exaggerate the texture and beauty of the web-like brickwork with root crawls, black and white image is the better choice here. 🙂 –Cecil Lee Photography
